Fidaura Terms of Service
Fidaura is free and supported by advertising. Your financial data stays on your device and is never shared with advertisers.
1. What Fidaura does
Fidaura is a personal expense tracker. On Android it can read your bank, card and UPI transaction alert SMS on your device to draft transactions for you. That parsing is entirely local: message content is never uploaded, and the raw text of a message is never stored. Fidaura works fully in manual mode without any permissions.
Fidaura is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, a lender, a payment service or a financial adviser. It never holds or moves your money. Split settle-ups hand off to your own UPI app.
2. Advertising
Fidaura is provided free of charge and is funded by advertising served by Google (AdMob). By using Fidaura you agree to be shown ads, which may include full-screen (interstitial) and rewarded video formats.
- Ads never receive your financial data. No amount, merchant, category, account, balance, bank or message content is passed to the ad network. Ad requests carry no data from the app.
- Google receives what any ad network receives to serve and measure an ad — your device's advertising identifier, device information and IP address. You can reset or limit that identifier in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Google's handling of it is governed by Google's own policies.
- We do not choose the ads. Ads are selected and served by Google. We do not control, vet or endorse individual ads, and an ad appearing in Fidaura is not a recommendation from us. Fidaura itself never offers you a loan or any financial product.
- Ads never block access. If an ad cannot load, the screen you asked for opens anyway.
3. Your content
The transactions, categories, budgets, notes and labels you create are yours. They are stored in an encrypted database on your device. Uninstalling Fidaura deletes them; there is no server copy to request the deletion of. You can export everything to CSV at any time.
4. Shared collections
If you use Collections to split expenses, the entries you share are end-to-end encrypted on your device and relayed through our server as ciphertext we cannot read. Closing a collection purges that ciphertext. You are responsible for what you choose to share with the people you invite.
5. Acceptable use
- Use Fidaura only for your own records, and only where you are entitled to read the messages on the device.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the ads, the app's integrity, or our relay service.
- Do not use Fidaura for anything unlawful.
6. No warranty, and the limits of what Fidaura can promise
Fidaura reads and interprets bank messages automatically. It can misread them. Amounts, categories and merchants are drafted for you to confirm, and you should treat Fidaura's figures as a convenience, not as a statement of account. Your bank's records are authoritative. Fidaura is provided "as is", without warranties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, InnoCore Labs Technologies Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Fidaura, or for decisions taken on the basis of figures it displays.
7. Premium features, and how you unlock them
Some features — importing a bank statement, statement coverage, and the deep-dive analysis — are premium. There is nothing to buy. You unlock them by choosing to watch a rewarded video, which opens every premium feature for 24 hours. Watching is always optional, and no feature that was free has been moved behind this.
- You can also trade a rewarded video for a quiet visit: after watching one, Fidaura shows you no full-screen ads until you close the app.
- A reward is granted only when a video is actually watched through. If no video is available, nothing is unlocked and nothing is charged — because nothing is ever charged.
- Checking Fidaura's own accuracy is never premium. “How capture is doing” in Settings is built from your own records and is always free.
Fidaura may later offer a paid option to remove ads and unlock these features without watching anything. If and when it does, its price and terms will be shown in the app before any purchase, and purchases are handled by Google Play under Google's terms.
8. Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. We will not weaken the core promise — that your financial data stays on your device and never reaches an advertiser — without asking for your explicit consent in the app.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction.
